Passivation
BCS Inc. offers chemical passivation services both in-house and a the clients site following ASTM A380-06.
BCS Inc. has developed innovative cleaning technologies using, among others, our proprietary BIODEGRADABLE, NON-FLAMMABLE and RECYCLABLE phosphoric acid based chemical; BIOPASS® which we use when undertaking passivation of stainless steel piping, tanks, equipment and systems.
BCS Inc. offers a complete TURNKEY PASSIVATION SERVICE enabling system validation to proceed quickly and efficiently with little or no involvement required from the customers QA department or personnel. A detailed validated job report is supplied listing chemicals used, quantities, their contact times, temperatures, circulation pressures (for piping systems), pH levels, number and areas where Ferroxyl tests were performed along with their results.
BCS Inc. crews mobilize to site with all pumps, hoses, fittings, valves, holding tanks, instrumentation, chemicals and testing apparatus. ALL chemical is removed from site by BCS Inc. for treatment or disposal if necessary. Most of our competitors blend chemicals within the customers system, neutralize the chemicals within the customer’s system and pump these chemicals (many containing heavy metals) into the customer’s sanitary sewer system. This waste is often added directly into the customer’s waste water treatment system incurring additional costs and stresses to their waste water discharge quota.
